Q: Do the sensors need to be installed or wired?

A: No installation or wiring required. Simply place the sensors wherever you want to monitor and they communicate wirelessly with the hub. Compact size fits under sinks, behind appliances, and in tight spaces.

Q: Can I add more sensors later?

A: Yes. Additional PHOVOLT water sensors can be added to the same hub to expand coverage to more rooms and locations throughout your home.

Q: Does it work if my WiFi goes down?

A: Yes. The 100dB local alarm will still sound when water is detected even without WiFi. App notifications require an active internet connection, but the audible alarm works independently.

Q: How long do the batteries last?

A: Each sensor uses 1 AAA battery (included). Battery life varies by usage but typically lasts 1–2 years under normal conditions. The app will notify you when battery levels are low.

Q: What smart water valves does it work with?

A: The auto-shutoff linkage works with Tuya-compatible smart water valves. When a leak is detected, the system automatically triggers the valve to close and stop the water supply.
