Q: How do I know if I have a neutral wire?

A: Turn off the breaker and remove your existing switch. If you see a white wire connected to the switch (not just in the back of the box), you likely have a neutral wire. Homes built after the mid-1980s almost always have one.

Q: Will it flicker with LED bulbs?

A: No flickering when used with dimmable LED bulbs within the 150W maximum. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or may be damaged — always verify your bulbs are dimmable before installing.

Q: Can I use it with smart bulbs like Philips Hue?

A: No. Smart bulbs require constant power and are not compatible with dimmer switches. Use this switch with standard dimmable LED, CFL, or incandescent bulbs only.

Q: Does it work with 5GHz WiFi?

A: No. The switch requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network for pairing and operation. Most routers broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz simultaneously — connect to the 2.4GHz band during setup.

Q: Can I still use the physical switch after installing?

A: Yes. The physical switch works normally for manual on/off and dimming control. Smart features via app and voice are additional — the switch functions as a standard dimmer even without WiFi.

Q: How many switches can I control from one app?
